Great Target Trip

I went to Target with a plan and totally did not stick to it. I was slowly walking through the isles when my

2 yr old son saw the Fruit Roll-ups. "Mommy I need those!" Well of course I caved and after we got home my son told my husband he needed to eat one. "Do you like those?" my husband said. My son looked at him and replied "Yes daddy, I like them and mommy had a coupon for them so it's OK".

I am so proud of him!!

Publix Shopping Trip

After a well deserved vacation, I was rested and ready to shop when we got home. I did a quick trip to Publix on Tuesday to stock up on some little things that where on sale. I was so glad to see that Publix had a lot of their fruit and veggies on sale, so I had to jump on them. I am going to try something new this week with the fruit. I have decided to make my own jam! I am a little scared about it, but I am trying to get in touch with my domestic side!

Frozen Food Frenzy At Publix...LINK UP!!

I had a light trip to Publix this week! My wonderful husband surprised me with a new freezer and told me to fill it!! I have never bought so many frozen things in my life!! I really took advantage of the Edwards frozen desserts and the deal they had on the Skinny Cow ice cream!! My daughter told me "I am a teenager and teenager's feel secure when they can go into the kitchen and have a ton of food to choose from"! Who would've thought that the way to a teenager's happiness is a lot of food to choose from!!

Slammin CVS Trip

I just love CVS! Not only do I have great shopping trips, but my CVS has the best customer service! They are very patient and never complain about the crazy lady who always seems to loose something like my CVS card or my bag tag. They always help me with every insane transaction and one employee tries to give me a heads up on upcoming sales! I just love those guys!

Breakfast Time At Target

I had the best time at Target this week! I went in there with only one thing on my mind (Eggo Waffles) and found some really good deals on the way to the frozen food section!! I went through the cleaning section and decided I really could use a few cleaning/laundry products and then I just had to jump on the free eggs with the purchase of Tropicana juice (had a free coupon). Not a bad trip!!

Family Matter's

I did ok at Publix. I had a little change in pace this week, I had some family come in from out of town, so I had to buy alot of things with no coupons! Of course this gives me the opportunity to show off my mad cooking skills.... hehehehe!! This week I made Saucy 'Shroom Onion Cheeseburgers and Gourmet Beans. Publix has some of the best recipes and they all kick butt!! Try them and tell me what you think and if you have something good to grill, let me kow. I would love to try it!!

My Time To Double Up

Here it is, for my most recent trip I kicked tail again this week. I stocked up on alot of things we really needed. Of course my hubby requested some things that where not on sale, but thankfully I did have coupon's for them.  I did my shopping at 2 grocery stores this week, Publix and the overwhelming Sams Superstore (to stock up on meat). I am trying to buy all of my meat from Sams to save boatloads money. I got 2 months worth of meat for $96.42 (plus a watermelon, strawberries and granola bars). I didn't take a pic of the Sams trip but I did pretty good. Maybe try it sometimes, it can really blow the savings off the map.

This week I did two transactions, and I think I did pretty good. I did stock up on a lot of drinks, because of the Holiday. School is about to be out here, so I bought a lot of lunch meat. I did take advantage of one lone razor, on clearence. I left some of my coupons at home, so I'm going back tomorrow to raid their clearence isle.

I really didn't need that much this week, but I did take advantage of the really good things on sale. I stocked up on a lot of the Knorr while it was on sale, and I have fallen in love with the Grillmates. So I got quit a few of them. It seems that my shopping trips keep getting better and better.

Target Shocker

I didn't intend on buying anything when I went to Target this week. I only went because I was spending time with my daughter (who's in college) and this is where we ended up. Usually, when I take trips like these I end up leaving mad at myself for spending too much. I need a plan and I need to stick to it. So I was shocked when I left with this stuff!! I had to look at my receipt twice just to make sure it was right.
